From our head teacher

We want to create a Sunday where our children love Turkish, get to know their culture, and feel at home. We meet every week — we would be glad to see you among us.

Our values

Three things matter to us.

  • Turkish Language & Literature

Reading, writing and speaking — age-appropriate, grounded in the Turkish national curriculum.

  • Turkish Culture & History

Our festivals, our folk songs, stories from our history — the bond carried from one generation to the next.

  • National Values

We share our love for the flag, for Atatürk and for our state in a calm, natural way.

Our classes

Three classes by age — each with its own pace, its own joy.

  1. 1

    Class 1

    Ages 5 – 6

A warm beginning for children meeting Turkish for the first time, or hearing only what is spoken at home.

  2. 2

    Class 2

    Ages 7 – 10

For children who already understand Turkish and want to build up their reading, writing and vocabulary.

  3. GCSE Turkish preparation
    3

    Class 3

    Ages 11 +

Text work pitched at secondary-school age, with focused preparation for the GCSE Turkish examination.
